Located just 32 miles north of Dallas, it is a suburb of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and is among the fastest-developing cities in the country. The City’s population was 199,177 according to the 2019 US census, making it the 16th most populous city in the state. The City features 19th century buildings and locally-owned businesses that can be found on Main Street. McKinney’s streets are lined with beautiful trees.
