Dr. Shiney George received her Bachelor of Dental Surgery in India. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree (DDS) from University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine. She enjoys learning new things and keeping abreast of the latest advances in dental technology, continually expanding her training and education. She belongs to several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association (ADA) and the Texas Dental Association (TDA).
Her mission for Highland Oak Dental is to provide the best care to her patients. A large part of this includes creating a clean, modern and soothing atmosphere where her patients feel welcome and relaxed. She and her staff work as a team with the patient, making sure that all information and options are available so that informed decisions can be made. She loves working with her patients, young and old, and seeing them smiling and healthy.
Dr. George says that she truly feels excited to go to her office every day. She has been practicing for many years and still finds dentistry exciting, challenging, and rewarding. Her favorite part of her job is having the ability to help people smile. In restoring a person’s teeth, she feels that she is also restoring their self-confidence, their self-image, and their ability to speak and eat and laugh, and also relieving them from pain and discomfort.
