What Goes Into the Cost of a Dental Implant?

  • The implant – a small titanium post placed in the jawbone to act as the new tooth root.
  • The abutment – the connector that attaches the crown to the implant (prefabricated or custom-made).
  • The implant crown – the visible, tooth-colored tooth that you chew with.
  • Planning and imaging – an exam and a 3D cone beam CT scan so the implant can be placed precisely.
  • Preparation, if needed – removing a failing tooth or adding bone graft material when there isn’t enough bone.

Member prices are for active Value Dental Membership Plan members (50% off our standard fee on the Basic Care Plan; Essential Plus members save 55%). Cash/membership pricing; insurance benefits vary. The plan is not insurance and can’t be combined with dental insurance; membership fees apply and fees are due at the time of service. Our standard (usual and customary) fee is shown next to every member price, as Texas dental advertising rules require for any discount. Prices are minimum fees as of October 2026, valid through December 31, 2026; your total may be higher depending on the treatment you need (for example imaging, extractions, bone grafting, a buildup or a different crown). We give you a written estimate after your exam, before any treatment.

Dental savings plan members save 50–55% on treatment. See our in-house dental savings plan.

Implant Dentures and Full-Arch Implants

If you’re missing most or all of your teeth, implants can anchor a full arch of teeth. The total depends on how many implants are needed, so we price it after a consultation and CT scan. Here is the denture or bridge itself (per arch, implants priced separately):

Full-arch restoration (per arch, implants priced separately)Member pricestandard fee below
Implant-supported removable denture (snap-on overdenture), upper$2,931Standard fee $5,862
Implant-supported removable denture (snap-on overdenture), lower$2,881Standard fee $5,761
Implant-supported fixed denture (e.g. All-on-4), upper$8,917Standard fee $17,834
Implant-supported fixed denture (e.g. All-on-4), lower$8,808Standard fee $17,615

Each implant post is $1,552 for members (standard fee $3,104). A fixed full arch usually uses four or more implants; Dr. Gadhiya will tell you how many your jaw needs after your CT scan. Learn more about All-on-4 implants, Teeth in a Day and dentures.

What Makes Implant Costs Higher or Lower?

  • How many teeth you’re replacing – one implant, an implant bridge, or a full arch.
  • Your bone and gum health – bone grafting or gum treatment before implants adds to the cost.
  • Whether a tooth must be removed first – and whether the extraction is simple or surgical.
  • The type of abutment and restoration – prefabricated vs. custom abutment; crown, bridge or denture.
  • How you pay – membership, insurance benefits, or monthly payment plans through CareCredit and Cherry.

Does Dental Insurance Cover Dental Implants?

Coverage varies a lot from plan to plan. Some PPO plans pay part of the implant, abutment or crown; others cover only related services, and every plan has an annual maximum. Our team will check your benefits before treatment. We’re in-network with many PPO insurance plans and will check your benefits before treatment. We also offer CareCredit and Cherry financing and our in-house dental savings plan for patients without insurance. We do not accept Medicaid or CHIP.

Is a Dental Implant Worth the Cost?

A bridge or a denture can cost less up front, but an implant doesn’t rely on neighboring teeth, helps preserve the jawbone, and is cleaned much like a natural tooth. Dr. Gadhiya will walk you through every option, including less costly ones. Learn more about dental implants in Frisco.
