Dental Implant vs. Bridge Cost in Frisco, TX
Replacing One Missing Tooth: A Side-by-Side Comparison

When one tooth is missing, the two most common fixed options are a dental implant and a dental bridge. Both are done in our Frisco office by Dr. Prakash Gadhiya, a general dentist. Here’s how the costs compare.
| Replacing one tooth | Member pricestandard fee below |
|---|---|
| Single implant: implant + prefabricated abutment + ceramic crown | $3,540Standard fee $7,079 |
| 3-unit bridge: two ceramic crowns on the neighboring teeth + one ceramic replacement tooth | $2,829Standard fee $5,658 |
Member prices are for active Value Dental Membership Plan members (Basic Care $29/mo, 50% off our standard fee, for patients with healthy gums; Essential Plus $39/mo, 55% off, for patients with periodontal infection; 12-month commitment with autopay). Membership pricing. The plan is not insurance and can’t be combined with dental insurance. Our standard (usual and customary) fee is shown next to every member price, as Texas dental advertising rules require for any discount. Prices are minimum fees as of October 2026, valid through December 31, 2026; charges may increase depending on the treatment you need. One offer per patient; offers can’t be combined. With dental insurance, your plan’s negotiated fees apply. We give you a written estimate before any treatment.
Imaging, extractions, bone grafting, buildups or gum treatment are extra if needed. See every implant fee on our implant cost page.
Dental savings plan members save 50–55% on treatment. See our in-house dental savings plan.
Implant or Bridge: Pros and Cons
| Implant | Bridge | |
|---|---|---|
| Neighboring teeth | Left untouched | Shaped for crowns |
| Jawbone | Helps preserve bone | Bone under the gap can shrink |
| Timeline | Usually a few months (healing) | Usually a few weeks |
| Surgery | Minor surgery to place the post | No surgery |
| Cleaning | Like a natural tooth | Floss threader under the bridge |
When a Bridge May Make More Sense
If the teeth next to the gap already need crowns, or if you can’t have surgery, a bridge can be the simpler choice. If the neighboring teeth are healthy, many patients choose an implant to leave them untouched. A partial denture is a lower-cost removable option.

Dental Implant vs. Bridge Cost FAQs
Is a dental implant or a bridge cheaper in Frisco?
For members of our Value Dental Membership Plan, a typical single implant is $3,540 (standard fee $7,079) and a 3-unit ceramic bridge is $2,829 (standard fee $5,658). Your total depends on imaging, extractions, grafting or other treatment you may need.
Which lasts longer, an implant or a bridge?
With good care both can last many years. Implants do not depend on neighboring teeth, and bridges may need replacing if a supporting tooth develops problems.
Does insurance cover implants or bridges?
Many PPO plans cover part of a bridge, and some cover part of an implant, up to your annual maximum. We check your benefits before treatment.
Is the consultation free?
Yes. We offer a free implant consultation and a free crown and bridge consultation. X-rays are not included.
Can I combine membership pricing with another offer?
No. One offer per patient, and membership cannot be combined with insurance or other offers.
